National Gallery

Sergei P. Sorokin donated to The National Gallery of the Republic of Komi a collection of Christmas cards, which he made during the period from 1960 until 1979. Major events in Sorokin family are encrypted in most of the sixteen drawings, which include New Testament parables and short musical phrases. An opening of the exhibit will take place in December of 2011. The clip shows there is high public interest in memorabilia from the family of Pitirim Sorokin, whom the Komi consider their native son.
